• Positioning
Place the light unit on the chosen flat surface. Ensure the 180° rotation axis is oriented to allow for final beam angle adjustment.
• Marking
Use the light as a template to mark the positions of the two screw holes.
• Drilling
Drill pilot holes appropriate for the provided M6 tapping screws.
• Angle Adjustment
Loosen the rotation mechanism, set the beam to the desired vertical or horizontal angle (up to 180° range), and re-tighten.

Installation Details & Positioning
Recommended Installation Position:
As depicted in the diagram, the ideal mounting location is on the Tailboard – Back (the rear-facing surface of the tail lift platform) or on the vehicle's rear door frame directly above the loading area. This position ensures the warning beam is visible directly from the rear when the tail lift is deployed.
Wiring Connection:
Important: The wiring connection depends on the user’s own specific situation.
The light uses a standard 2-wire system (Positive + / Negative -).
Connect the positive wire to a switched power source. This can be:
The power line activating with the tail lift motor.
A dedicated switch on the dashboard.
The vehicle's reverse light circuit (for activation when in reverse gear).
Connect the negative wire to a clean, unpainted metal point on the vehicle chassis (ground).
